What it is

A set of five contractor-grade 9-inch texture rollers that emboss stone-like patterns into fresh concrete and other wet finishes. Each roller slides onto a standard 9-inch paint roller frame (one handle is included), so you can switch patterns in seconds. Roll it over the surface to leave a decorative, stone-like texture: a simple way to dress up a pour.

How to use it

  1. Place, screed and float your concrete (or apply your plaster, stucco or paint) as you normally would.
  2. Let the surface firm up until it holds an impression without slumping. Test a small, out-of-the-way spot first.
  3. Slide your chosen roller onto a 9-inch roller frame.
  4. Roll in straight, steady passes with even pressure, slightly overlapping each pass so the pattern stays continuous.
  5. Wipe the roller clean between passes as needed, and rinse it with water when you're done, before material dries on it.
  6. Finish, cure and seal the surface following your usual practice and the material manufacturer's instructions.

Safety: wet cement can irritate skin and eyes, so wear gloves and eye protection.
